Me and my hubby want to do a little concrete/ power washing business on the weekends? How do we go about this

We live about an hour north of detroit. He did residental concrete for a few years. Neither of us have experience running a business. we want this to be just a side thing so we can get extra money.Me and my hubby want to do a little concrete/ power washing business on the weekends? make phone calls to get business license, local paper advertising, (offer a special to the first 10 or whatever you think) put decals on your vehicle towards advertising, buy a book of professional invoices to leave with clients that have thin paper as a second copy for you to keep for your own records, grab a little filing cabinet for the clerical stuff to be filed into, have the local stationary shop create some business cards for the both of you to hand out to serious inquiries, post a few up on billboards, have a picture taken of the two of you together in your work garb to put up somewhere you see fit, establish monthly clientele where possible.Me and my hubby want to do a little concrete/ power washing business on the weekends? I believe that the best way of going about it would be to go to your local government office and apply for a business license (people are more willing to do business with people who are licensed). Then little bulletin board advertisements posted in public areas would be good to get you started. the right equipment is essential also. you may want to go with a small power washer with 1500psi pressure and adjustable spray nozzle to start. and hey, as you move up to a bigger budget, you could purchase a nice trailor mount pressure washer with its own built on tank for truly portable operation.
Make flyers to put in gas stations, buy a fairly nice power washer and decal the vehicle you drive to do jobs.
