  • Can anyone help me with my car washing business?

I'm 13 years old and I want to start washing cars on Sundays to earn a bit of money. I need to know how much i should charge, how i could be successful, how i should start of conversations, how i should make people let me wash their car and is there any good catchphrase i could useCan anyone help me with my car washing business?
the first thing you need to do before you touch anyones car is make sure that your parents know what you are doing and that they are insured for you to do this.

The last thing you want is someone suing you for damage to their car when you have no way of paying the costs.

Once you have covered yourself - you need a marketing strategy - perhaps start with friends and neighbours and get the word out that you are good and reliable at washing their cars.

Word of mouth is the best advertisement ....

I just started a pressure washing side business, is there any secrets to cut cleaning time?

i have a 3000 psi pressure washer with extention.Looking for tips, tools,or chemicals that would helpI just started a pressure washing side business, is there any secrets to cut cleaning time?
Yes, I've been doing it full time for 3 years and learned that a good surface cleaner and a 6 ft. wand are great time saving tools. Best money I ever spent. Ex: Almost everybody will want you to do their driveway or sidewalks along with the house. Do a driveway by hand and it will take hours and give you a sore back. Use a surface cleaner and it will take 60-90 minutes and do a better job than with a wand. Good surface cleaners last 10 years and have few moving parts to break. New ones cost around $1500 but will pay for themselves in a month. The 6 ft. wand. When cleaning the eaves, soffit and fascia of a house, you have to hit it from several angles to get it clean and a 6 ft. wand saves you from lugging a ladder around the whole house so you can get the nozzle at the right distance to the surface. The area I work in is hilly so many of the lots are sloped and suddenly a house is much taller at one end. Normally, you would need to get a ladder or extension pole. With a 6 ft. wand, you can still reach the area and move on to the next. A 6 ft. wand also has a tendency to keep you drier when working. Ex: when you are cleaning mold from a slab, it's easier to stay dry. 6 ft. wands usually run about $150, but are totally worth it. Get one with a variable pressure handle and it will save the wear and tear on your machine, but specifically the pump. Also, a 12 ft. ladder with a 6 ft. wand will allow you to clean most 2 story houses without having to use a 24 ft. extension pole. Extension poles are great for the abs but it gets old as the summer goes on. I'll be happy to talk with you about chemicals I use, just contact me. No charge.

Can I make good money presure washing business?

I knew someone who tried this. He didn't last long. However, I think that success or failure in this type of venture depends chiefly on how hard you work, in every aspect of the business. I would not expect to get rich in a business where you are doing manual labor like this. If you plan to build your business and eventually hire a crew, you could fare well.

Good luck! Can I make good money presure washing business?
if you can find clients yes , if you are capable of washing huge lots like wal mart then you could find business . It's a pretty good business , once the initial investment of the power washer and water tank and something to haul it with it is pretty much profit after these things are paid for . Especially if you can use the water source on the customers property

    Wash and fold laundry business?

I am recently unemployed mother of four. I've been consistently searching for employment with no success. So I've decided to take matters into my own hands and start a small business, with little start up cost. The wash and fold service seems ideal. Can anyone who is in the business please give me some good direction and advice?Wash and fold laundry business?
If you are very good at it, you can get business.

Try flyers that give pick up and delivery (if you are doing this at home, the last thing you want is customers at your door)

Give the flyers out at high end apartment complexes, even putting them on cars at expensive entertainment complexes.

Give out cards or flyers anywhere you can see busy singles, guys and gals. There may be less business than there was a year ago, but there is still business out there, you just have to work harder to get it.

Make sure that you have a check list for the new customer , that includes any soap allergies or if they like towels folded a certain way.

It always works best if you know your customers likes and dislikes before you start working for them.

Most laundry services charge by the pound, so invest in a good scale and price accordingly.

good luck!!!Wash and fold laundry business?
Wtf, no ones needs anyone to do that anymore. Almost everyone has their own washer and dryer machines, and if they don't they go to a laundry mat or wash them in the sink.

No one is going to pay you to wash and fold their clothes in this economy. What do you think this is, the 50's? Go get a real job.
wow some of these responses were so mean! have you considered being an Avon or Mary-Kay consultant? They make good money, make their own hours, and get to sell make up- very sweet deal. The wash and fold seems good, but unless you are in NYC i dont know how successful it will be. Maybe you could be a house keeper? Dog sitter? These are all extra ways to make money while still having family time :D good luck!

How much to start a pressure washing business?

I would guess well under $1,000. $400-$500 for a really good power washer, and a couple hundred for some flyers for advertising.

Depending on where you live, there are better times of year to start than others. This time of year in much of the country, most people aren't thinking about power washing. However, starting in March would be great - people are gearing up for Spring/Summer.

How do I recover the costs of damage to my new car created by a local auto wash business?

My factory rims are considerably gouged. The auto wash manager implied that the wash wasn't responsible, due to the force required to create such gouges. I'm the kind of person who notices each new stone chip, no one else drives the car, and the damage did not happen while I was driving it. The manager and I reviewed the suspected point of impact together and found the plastic guarding broken off in one area ( a lot of force required for that). I still don't have the official word, but I suspect they won't take responsibility. What should I do?How do I recover the costs of damage to my new car created by a local auto wash business?
Find out if they're bonded or insured which any good business would be. Then submit a claim under that coverage. Deal with the management and ';small claims court'; will work if you have a good case and good proof (photos, records etc) The only way around ';their word against yours'; is to force them to inspect the car before it goes through the car wash and have them sign a statement that they saw no damage. This is what you do at a car rental agency when you sign the contract. You have to go out and look the car over to make sure there's no damage before you rent it.How do I recover the costs of damage to my new car created by a local auto wash business?
Most car washes that I have frequented have a sign that states they are not responsible for damage to tires and rims due to interference problems with custom/aftermarket alloy wheels. You can try small claims court but don't expect much if you cannot prove the damage was deliberate. I also find it kind of strange that someone who cares as much for their car would subject it to a commercial carwash facility. My work truck goes though the 'wash' but NEVER my car.
first thing the car wash is not responible for most damage most of the time sorry but you should hand was any car and little chance of the washer messing up your wheels... move on wash by hand
If the first 2 answers fail to satisfy you take them to Small Claims Court

Is it legal for a 13 year old to open a dog washing/grooming business during the summer? Is it legal for a 13 year old to open a dog washing/grooming business during the summer?
Well, you probably could offer to bathe (at least) dogs that you know.

One of my kids started a dog walking business when she was about your age. She even had several of her friends working for her as ';employees.'; But I think if I knew then what I know now, I would have been a little more concerned about insurance issues.

For grooming - you'll want to study up on whether there is any kind of licensing or inspection required of dog groomers in your area. There might not be - but then again, there might be. You need to check. And if you will be keeping the dogs you are bathing or grooming on your property, you should make sure you meet your municipality's or township's dog kennel and licensing regulations. You also might want to check with your parents about liability insurance. Make sure that in the event that ';something happens'; (including - possibly - 2 of your canine customers getting into a dog fight and injuring one another, somebody's dog biting or snapping at another dog's owner, something happening to one of the dogs, or you getting bitten by a cranky customer). Even though these things are unlikely, you want to make sure you are covered by insurance that would pay any possible lawsuits.

It is possible that no zoning or licensing regulations would apply to your summertime business at all, where you live. But I think you'd want to make sure before you start. Welcome to the business world! Is it legal for a 13 year old to open a dog washing/grooming business during the summer?
    im sure it'll be fine.

i dont see anything wrong with it.

its just like selling lemonaide, or charging to mow someones lawn.

    do it!

    be proactive!

Do you think starting a window washing business is a good idea ?

If you live in an area with lots of skyscrapers!!Do you think starting a window washing business is a good idea ?
absolutely. and do homes as well as businesses.Do you think starting a window washing business is a good idea ?
any business is a good idea as long as you can make money. find out what other people in the area charge and charge about the same. you only need a ladder and some cleaning supplies and you are in business. best to look into some insurance in case you break or damage someones property. windows are very expensive to replace.
Yes it is. Too many Americans are lazy and don't clean their windows from outside. You will do good. Go in the areas where you see people who don't mow their own lawns.
heck yes! do it brother . its the only way right now to live in this country right now is do it for your self! good luck! am doing it for myself now . but make sure you go door to door business first then homes .
it has very low start up costs...............I assume you are doing businesses on a weekly or monthly basis and apt dwellers by advertizing in the local papers...........cheap start.do a great job and be reliable and GOOD LUCK!

    could be a winner
If you have experience in small business management or a strong passion for running this type of business and are willing to pay the high insurance premiums you will have to pay and there are lots of dirty windows in your area and there is not a lot of competition for this type of work in your area.
absolutely...everyone has windows and nobody like to clean them!! Go for it and good luck!

Ha Ha, You are under 16 and want to start a business. Well you can try. Go door to door asking for business. This will not cost you much to set up. Try to offer unique services. Go to up-scale areas. People with cheap, old cars are unlikely to employ you. Expect to be turned down over 90 % of the time.Im a teen and want my own car wash business but dont no were to start help!?
Hi, if it was me I would ask around where I live and friends/relatives. Maybe a postcard in the local newsagents. Once you start to build a good reputation more work should come your way.

Your prices are cheap so after a few months I would put them up.

Do you have a bike? Maybe get a little trailor for it for all your stuff.

Good luck but don't let your school work suffer you may need GCSE's to fall back on if it goes wrong !!!!!

Business is all about taking a risk...

    I'll ask you these questions...

How much will it cost you to wash a car?? (So how much do you have to charge)

Ask your parents how much they are willing to pay to have there car washed?? (So is it too expensive?)

How do you find out about other local services? (Just copy them. Ever notice how a maccy d's pops up, then a starbucks, then a Clair's accessory's... someone did the research first, who was it?)

Sorry if I've confused you. I'm just not going to give you the answers because if I do you'll suck at what you do :o)

    Good luck my friend.

Palin couldn't run her own car wash business, do you think she can run the government?

State records show the business ran into trouble with Alaska's division of corporations business and professional licensing after Palin became governor of the state in 2006.

A Feb. 11, 2007 letter to the governor's business partner advises that the car wash had ';not filed its biennial report and/or paid its biennial fees,'; which were more than a year overdue.

The warning letter was written on state letterhead, which carried Palin's name at the top, next to the state seal.

On April 3, 2007, the state went further and issued a ';certificate of involuntary dissolution'; because of the car wash's failure to file its report and pay state licensing fees. The state shut the business down.Palin couldn't run her own car wash business, do you think she can run the government?
Maybe she was a little busy being governor. Palin couldn't run her own car wash business, do you think she can run the government?
You may want to add the rest of the story to your tale. I think there is a bit more such as government administrative errors and Democratic ';gotcha'; plays since Palin won the governor's seat.

People like you make this election sickening. Know your facts and double check your sources.
Funny how you fail to mention that upon becoming Governor she passed Business management over to an independent entrepreneur. She was unable to run both the Business and be Governor. A wise decision for her. The fact it went under was due to the new ownership, not the Governor.
and if she were making big money at it you would complain that she were washing state owned cars there for a profit.

Also, the state did NOT shut the business down. Involuntary dissolution is very common when a company is no longer choosing to do business.
Research it a little deeper. it wasn't a business that got shut down. It was a land investment that never got off the ground.

Is it illegal to have a car wash business in your driveway?

a guy a few houses up washes about 7 cars per day (in addition to other questionable activities) and then ducks behind the cars when he sees someone walking by, or runs inside when he occasionally sees the police drive by. is'nt this illegal without a license? Is it illegal to have a car wash business in your driveway?
Since it is doubtful that your neighborhood is zoned for a business, then yes it would be illegal. If the police are not helpful, you might want to call the local zoning board. Is it illegal to have a car wash business in your driveway?
I'm curious, where is he parking the cars to be washed? And the cars he just finished washing? That's a lot of cars to be parked in front of one's house.

It depends on the zoning regulations as to whether or not his so called ';business'; is illegal. Like on my street it is zoned for small business and residential. So if you had a business selling clay pots that you make in your basement in your front yard it's legal.

In my area of the country we have limitations on water use. It changes from year to year depending on the mountain snow fall. A couple of summers ago we weren't allowed to wash our cars at home due ot a water shortage. We had to take them to a car wash that reused its water. The others had to be shut down until they could comply.

If you think the guy is doing something not cool, video tape it for evidence. Tape is the one incorruptible and undisputed witness. There is nothing he can do because he is in full public view from a public thoroughfare. As long as you don't step on private property your legal.

most like is illegal, depending on your cities codes regulations. contact city hall and they can point you to the correct authorities.
This is not only illegal but your neighbor could get in some serious trouble with the EPA if the waste water is getting into the city drainage or any nearby creeks.....
Yes call the cops and explain to them.

    Teen car wash business question?

I decided that I am going to run a car washing service on the side but I have a question.

Should I ask if the people want to sign up for a car washing service that comes by every other Saturday and washes whatever cars they have?

I would do this on a block (A days and B days) schedule and it would guarantee customers every week. But if the person isn't home, I wouldn't make money. I guess I could ask other neighbors just for that day though.

Or should I just walk around house to house every Saturday and ask neighbors to wash cars without it being a specific scheduled service?

    Thanks!Teen car wash business question?
DO it by semi-appointment. Some people will agree to every two weeks, some will want every four weeks, some will want to call you, some will want you to call them on Friday toi check for Saturday.

But if someone schedules you, they should pay even if they are not home at regiular time., You can always bend the rules for good customers who just had an emergency. And instead of just car wash, think about a full detailing as an option Carpet shampoos, etc. Make more money from each client. Sell gift certtificates too.Teen car wash business question?
You should do it for a monthly fee, and if they're not there on their designated time then its too bad. Bill them at the end of every month in arrears. Good idea mate, shows thinking outside of the box for even simple business idea.

What types of insurance are needed and what is the cost?Cost of Insurance for Window Washing Business?
The best way to get this answer is to open your phone book and call at least 3 different business insurance providers in your area. It will take about 10 minutes to get a quote, and they'll be able to tell you what your business needs. Every city, county, and state is different though, as is every type of business and what you include in your service. Good luck!Cost of Insurance for Window Washing Business?
Depending on precisely what kind of window washing business you are starting and in what state, this can be one of the most expensive businesses to insure. In the State of NJ, worker's compensation is based on rates per $100 of payroll... per example clerical is .27 and sales is .54. I don't know the exact figure but window washing is somewhere around 40.00 which means for every $100 of payroll, you're paying $40 just in insurance. Very expensive as their is a lot of risk involved in window washing (more than 2 stories).
depending if your clients will be walking in to do business or if you will just be an in call and then go out and do the job will bring two different types of situations and plans, you can compare major insurance companies that deal with small business insurance at http://www.COMPAREusINSURANCE.com hope this helps . . .

A lot of these car wash places rent old petrol station forecourts or closed down car sales places. These are usually easily visible for advertising (big sign required) and will have water supplies. Obviously you would need to find out who the owner of the land/propoerty is and agree some sort of arrangement, e.g. 10% of profits

You could simply start out small by buying the basics: bucket, soap, sponge, shamoi, wax, alloy wheel brush etc, and go knocking on peoples doors. Hard work!

pavement, metal, bricks and concrete use caustic acid, usually can find that in Red Devil drain opener. (like draino) wood decks that are not stained with wood stain use lots of bleach, about half and half. Then rinse good. Vinyll and Painted Aluminum siding use a little vinegar so it doesn't spot. Using caustic acid the hotter the water the better it cleans. I would look into investing in a Hotsy industrial steam cleaner if I was serious about the business after you get it up and going.Starting power wash business;chemicals?

    Car Wash Business in Rain?

Hi, I will be starting a doorstep car wash/ detailing business next month (Which will also be a start for monsoon). My question is will it be profitable? Will I attract customers in rainy season? Also is there any way to protect the car from rain while washing %26amp; waxing? because mostly it will be at customers residence or office. So I wont have any clue if the place has shade or not!Car Wash Business in Rain?
Washing in the rain is easy, it's the waxing/detailing that is tough. You could look into a portable gazebo from WalMart/Target. They aren't that expensive and are only a roof and the legs no sides, so you could set it up around and over a car you are washing/waxing.

Whether or not you will be profitable is really dependent on the economy and the area you are trying to market yourself in. When money gets tight, people will either not wash their car or wash it themselves.

I hope you make out though!Car Wash Business in Rain?
Thats like saying your sun tan at night
What part of the world are you in? I own a mobile detailing company in Long Island, NY. It has been very rainy here. Customers do not want to spent $200+ knowing it's going to rain.

What you need to do is have a steady pipeline going where you can do multiple vehicles on one day an account for the rain. (no work) Use the rain to catch up on e-mails and chatting with customers.

Don't worry so much about the shade as mobile detailing is at the mercy of the environment you are in.
I think so. Cleaning a car is as much or more about getting chemicals that eat paint and chrome off as it is having a nice appearance. A car will stay clean in the rain if it's not moved.

They make pop-up gazebos and such that you can use to keep the rain or sun off while you work.
About the rain, not so much.

I work at a car wash and when there's even a 30% chance of rain you can almost guarantee that people will be scared off. If it has been really rainy and then it looks like it'll be nice for about a week or so it will be busy. People in this economy do not want to spend money washing their car if it is going to rain and ruin it.

When it's cold business is awesome (especially if it snows and the roads are salted) but it sounds like you live in a warm area.

I hope it is not slow for you.

    good luck!

    Car wash business?

I want to build my own car wash business but I don't know about it, could you tell me wich things I need and how or where to get it?Car wash business?
Since you've never been in business before, I would strongly recommend that you talk to a business counselor before you do anything especially spend money. You have to determine whether you'll start an automated wash or a hand wash business. I'd call the local office of SCORE (go to http://www.score.org and input your zip code to find the chapter nearest you), the advice is FREE.

The counselor at SCORE will most likely advise you to write a business plan which is very good advice because it will force you to dig out all of the start up details and the costs of starting your car wash business and force you to also understand all of the aspects of this business including the customers you'll concentrate on (your market ) and how you'll go after them.

You'll need to register the business with your state controller's office and make sure that you have any city and county licenses if any are needed where you live. All of this will come out in a business plan.

    Good LuckCar wash business?
Car washes are expensive. You need a big and very expensive piece of machinery. If you get it, you will make a pile of money. The other trouble is environmental. How will you dispose of the soap and the dirt and the water. It is a tougher business than one might think. There are a lot of resources on the internet. It should be easy to research. Expect to have to pay about two megs in equipment, building and store front. Good luck.
first ask yourself are you in it to wash cars yourself. my advise is theres better ways to make money than to wash cars but then again you are probably looking for something easy.
Well any business you start you will need to have at least two years experience to get financing, so my suggestion is go manage one for a few years, save your money as you will need 25 to 35% down and they run about 1.5 and up to purchase or to build even more! And you will need to OWN a home with the value in equity for the amount of the loan...

I want to start a pressure washing business, but unsure of how to start. I'm thinking about buying this pressure washing business book and forms package at http://www.pressurewashingmanual.co... because it looks like the best information I've seen yet. Anybody have any advice? How to start a Pressure Power Washing Business?
First things' first. Do you have a reliable, quality machine? If you have all of the equipment, learn to use it perfectly. Experiment with tips, detergents, woods. Once you have mastered the machine, you can search for a perfect niche--and since it's spring and people will be staying outside more often, begin by going after deck washing. That gives the biggest bang for your buck. Word of mouth, if your work is good, will begin to propel you into other jobs. As far as being paid, a simple receipt book will suffice--why do you need a lot of forms? Paperwork stinks as it is. Stay all cash if you can, take checks made out to you so you can cash them.

If you manage a small store in the D.C. area (I'm talking like a mall retail shop) would you mind sharing your salary? I recently transfered to an Alexandria store, which is a 40-mile one-way commute, and I didn't receive any more money. Car wash business?

Looking to open a car wash/detailing business, plus quick lube in NJ, have seen a few good locations, where do we go from here?

    Appreciate all help..Car wash business?
I would contact local government in your area to see what the licensing and business requirements are. Second you will need to figure out how you will finance the operation...do you need a loan or will you provide all of the capital? Financing will probably be the most tricky part of your startup because banks generally do not like to finance start ups.

Check out www.sba.gov this site will give you plenty of advice on starting and running a successful business. Good luck!Car wash business?
Need a business plan and then contact your local bank for a loan or there are non-profit organizations out there that can help you with getting a loan.

But, you definitely need a business plan. That shows that you are serious.
Find out the rules, not only for the state, but also the town. Find out what zoning you would have to have. Do you need a license to operate? Get your sales tax certificate in place. Get your commercial insurance in place. Yes, you have to have it, sooner or later you will scratch or damage a car.

Price your equipment. Do you have to reclaim and recycle water per state law? Price the cost of that.

Going to have employees? Read up on those rules too, be prepared to pay social security and insurance on your employees, not to mention having to pay out unemployment when you have to fire someone.

In other words, do you homework first, then be prepared to not make a profit for a while. Most new businesses fail in the first 3 years.

Impressive, girl friend. Here is a link for pressure washers. You are going to rock! http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=pressur鈥?/a>

As far a s chems, I'd suggest a little clorox in the mix to kill the lovely green algae, it is environmentally friendly in the right proportion and does a lovely job. (I hired mine done, please give me an estimate as my abode sanctuary is in need of a bath!.) good luck. Can anyone give me some pointers on pressure washing? Any pressure washing business owners out there?
Good idea, but I know nothing about pressure washers, sorry.
For pressure washing a set of concrete paths and a wide driveway I just used plain water. For oil spots I added a little detergent into the bottle that came with the system, but it really did not do that much better a job. Maybe hot water would have been better but I could not arrange it without replacing water taps.

I bought a small Danish made pressure washer in a hardware store for less than the cost of hiring a larger one. it removed an enormous amount of dirt and algae from the concrete which looked almost new afterwards.

I found it would not remove old paint spots from concrete, some of them had been there since before 1990 when I moved in. However the pressure that my small unit could supply might not have been enough. A few paint spots did lift though. You might need spot chemicals for this. Likewise it would not shift paint in good condition from timber, but anywhere the paint was poor it did move most of it.

But if you wanted to start a business with one you will need one with as high a capacity as you can get. This not so much the pressure but the volume of the water it can supply at an adequate pressure. A larger volume of water means a wider spray and a wider spray means you get the job done quicker.

This might mean some kind of system powered by a fuel burning motor mounted on the back of a pickup with perhaps a burner to supply hot water when needed.

    Hope this helps.
there are many chemicals. Sears sells pressure washer chemicals. Simple green has a chemical. There are differant chemicals for the job you want I use a product called sundance wash and wax for mobilehomes, RVs and vehicles. It requires no rinshing and leaves a nice wax shine. Pressure washing is fun.

Me and my hubby want to do a little concrete/ power washing business on the weekends? How do we go about this

We live about an hour north of detroit. He did residental concrete for a few years. Neither of us have experience running a business. we want this to be just a side thing so we can get extra money.Me and my hubby want to do a little concrete/ power washing business on the weekends? How do we go about this
make phone calls to get business license, local paper advertising, (offer a special to the first 10 or whatever you think) put decals on your vehicle towards advertising, buy a book of professional invoices to leave with clients that have thin paper as a second copy for you to keep for your own records, grab a little filing cabinet for the clerical stuff to be filed into, have the local stationary shop create some business cards for the both of you to hand out to serious inquiries, post a few up on billboards, have a picture taken of the two of you together in your work garb to put up somewhere you see fit, establish monthly clientele where possible.Me and my hubby want to do a little concrete/ power washing business on the weekends? How do we go about this
I believe that the best way of going about it would be to go to your local government office and apply for a business license (people are more willing to do business with people who are licensed). Then little bulletin board advertisements posted in public areas would be good to get you started. the right equipment is essential also. you may want to go with a small power washer with 1500psi pressure and adjustable spray nozzle to start. and hey, as you move up to a bigger budget, you could purchase a nice trailor mount pressure washer with its own built on tank for truly portable operation.
Make flyers to put in gas stations, buy a fairly nice power washer and decal the vehicle you drive to do jobs.

I need insurance for my window washing business?

I don't have any employees? I just need the insurance for myself and customers while i am on their property. Who is a good insurance company? Is Aflac a good company?I need insurance for my window washing business?
So, you want general liability. And maybe workers comp.

Aflac doesn't do liability or wc, as far as I know. You're going to have to call a local, independent agent to get quotes. The liability should start at $800, and go up if you're more than two stories high. The WC will also start at $800, if you can get it, in your state.I need insurance for my window washing business?
Hi Ali, call me for a quote, 1-888-731-9999 or go to www.safelyinsured.com Report Abuse

Aflac is a good company, but they wouldn't have the type of insurance you'd need. You need a property and casualty broker to find you liability insurance.

    Jeff
In addition to the general liability you might want to ask the local agent about a business auto policy and equipment coverage depending on your assets.

Does anyone have any info on mobile dog washing business?

Not grooming, just washing. I was thinking about doing this and wondered what equipment would be needed and how a mobile grooming trailer works as far as plumbing, electricity, etc. If anyone has any experiences with this or any info, please share. Thanks.Does anyone have any info on mobile dog washing business?
The plumbing would work much as it does in a RV. You would need a large sink and sprayer hoses and a place to tie them to while bathing and enough room to either kennel them or blow dry them.Does anyone have any info on mobile dog washing business?
I doubt there would be much call for just the washing. The new units sold for about $65,000 6 or 7 years ago.

It would be powered by a generator. You have a tub (not a sink) with a ramp up to it. room for a couple crates. You should NEVER dry a dog in a closed crate. In fact you should dry them on the table %26amp; not in a crate at all
