I would guess well under $1,000. $400-$500 for a really good power washer, and a couple hundred for some flyers for advertising.
Depending on where you live, there are better times of year to start than others. This time of year in much of the country, most people aren't thinking about power washing. However, starting in March would be great - people are gearing up for Spring/Summer.
